The Diebold Recognition Subsystem serves as the second layer and offers best in class character recognition and image quality analysis.  The Diebold Recognition Subsystem reads, analyzes and manages the check image while it resides at the ATM.

Diebold’s Recognition Subsystem is available on all Diebold Opteva and ix ATMs.  The recognition subsystem is application and vendor independent, enabling consistent image analytics to be performed across the ATM network.  Our technology can even accept OCR documents enabling bill payments at the ATM.

The third layer of Diebold’s solution features ImageWay server solutions, giving you the flexibility to configure your ATM network for your current and future needs.  Choose the solution that fits your environment.

Third Party Solution
ImageWay ATM uses industry standard message formats for assured delivery of deposit transaction to a third party server. Interface the ATM directly into an existing check imaging environment.

Diebold In-House or Outsourced Service Solutions
