Remote Transaction Systems (RTS) can move the attributes of drive-thru prescription delivery services inside the store.

Diebold's RTS solutions use a pneumatic tube system to transport documents and filled scripts between the pharmacy and customer terminals located virtually anywhere in the store. Two-way closed circuit television (CCTV) and audio systems provide communication between the customer and pharmacy personnel.  Walk-up script delivery terminals can help manage store traffic, improve customer convenience and enhance security for pharmacy personnel.

Customer station facades
Diebold's patented customer station façades are completely self-contained, making it possible to quickly install script delivery stations anywhere within the store up to 500 feet (152m) from the pharmacy area (VAT 21). They are uniquely designed to accommodate all the components allowing complete turnkey installation.

Audio and video redundancy kits
Diebold offers RTS redundancy kits provide a means of manually switching over to a back-up VAT Video Matrix/and/or 816™ audio. This allows for uninterrupted service in the event of failure of the primary audio/video communications system. This is especially critical in the RTS  environment where there are no alternate methods of communication between the pharmacy and customers.
