Two Way Video Communications

An optional feature, CCTV for VATs, adds video capability to your drive-thru system when line of sight is not possible and face-to-face consultations are required. Systems can be configured to provide one- or two-way video communications between areas within the pharmacy and customer positions.

The One-way Video System consists of a camera within an environmentally controlled housing that is attached to a VAT customer unit. The system provides two-way audio between the customer and operator and allows the operator to view the customer on a monitor located at the operator station.

The CCTV two-way video communication system includes an independent customer unit featuring a 6.4" sunlight viewable flat screen display and a color camera. The Vision Direct™ operator unit is placed at the script delivery station and or work area within the pharmacy, along with placement at the teller's work station in the Financial Institution. It features a flat screen display, mirror and camera to allow the operator to look directly into the camera when communicating. The system interfaces with Diebold's 816 Audio™ System to provide seamless communication.

Optional Video Advertising
A video message port on two-way video communication systems allows video advertising on monitors at the customer unit. This option can be used to maximize marketing opportunities and reduce perceived wait time. 

Video advertising options increase the perceived service quality, add sales volume without adding staff and reduce staffing without reducing service quality.  Video and audio content is created, scheduled and broadcast using a VideoNet Director unit.  The iBox, in partnership with inLighten, delivers broadcast quality video and audio from one compact device.  It provides broadcast quality television over the full spectrum of displays, including plasmas, television, CRTs and LCDs.
