Designed  to help ensure the secure collection and transfer of deposits from the receiving chest to the processing site, this system eliminates "double custody" because the deposits are secure in a tamper-proof deposit collection bag.  Specially sized collection bags have been configured to fit properly into our TL-15 and  TL-30 line of safes.

Labor Savings
No longer are two bank employees required at the deposit safe during the collection period. all deposits remain safe in the tamper proof bag from the time of the deposit to the time when the bag is opened at the processing site.  This system allows the armored car guard to retrieve the deposits in bulk from the chest, in single-custody, without the presence of bank employees.  This is a labor savings for the bank.

Ease of Installation
This system consists of an aluminum attachment frame that is easily inserted into the receiving chest using two adjustable jackscrew assemblies; no drilling is required.  In addition to the frame, there are four canvas tamper-proof collection bags with a standard tamper alert switch.  One bag will generally be in the chest collecting the deposits; two are available as spares, and the fourth bag is at the processing center.  Additional bags may be purchased if desired.

The installation and operation of this system is simple and fast.  Frame installation takes no more than 30 minutes.  Once the frame has been installed, the system is ready to use.  Each collection bag has a metal frame around the opening that contains the tamper switch, and a lock bolt that secures into the hanging frame.  There is a sliding lid that seals the bag opening that is also attached with a cord to the bag.  This cord prevents the lid from getting separated from the bag.

Ease of Operation
To operate the system, one simply slides the collection bag into a grooved slot in the hanging frame until it locks.  The sliding cover must not be closing off the opening in the collection bag.  The bag automatically locks into the frame and the tamper sensing device is activated.

When it is time to collect the deposits, the person doing the collecting slides the plastic cover that is handing at the side of the bag into the available slot in the frame above the bag.  Once the cover is totally engaged, it unlocks the bag from the hanging frame, enabling the bag to be removed.  The sliding cover has been locked into place so the contents are not exposed to the collecting agents.

Located in the bag's frame is a sensor that detects an attempt to tamper with the bag.  It senses if the bag is forcibly removed from the frame without the cover being engaged, and it also senses if the cover is forcible removed without the proper key. A light will blink continuously indicating the bag was tampered with , the the contents may not be correct.  If a discrepancy is detected, then the responsibility rests solely on the collection agent, since the processing center will have the proper key to unlock the sliding top.  if a bag is received at the processing center with the tamper light blinking, then an immediate audit should be done of the contents.

Return on Investment
The return on investment for the bank and armored car service would come in the elimination of labor costs associated with collecting the deposits.  The bank would not need a witness nor have a need for a manifest, and the armored car service could eliminate their dual man team.  One person can handle the collection at Safe-Pak equipped sites.
