Juen Sassady
Technician
Almost every big company lists safety, quality, responsibility, and inclusiveness among important corporate attributes. Juen Sassady knows more than most about how Diebold embraces these core values.
Originally from Hong Kong, Juen faced a language barrier when she first became an employee at Diebold. But that didn't stop her from developing into a highly-valued ATM repair technician, ensuring that card readers work the way they're supposed to on Diebold ATMs.
"I've learned a lot since I began working here," Sassady explains. "It's obvious to me as a technician that Diebold values safety, quality, and responsibility. These things are stressed continually at Diebold's depot repair center. In addition, Diebold has made me feel included since I joined the company 11 years ago. There is a lot of opportunity to learn and work. The company pays well and will even pay your tuition."
Many of Sassady's learning opportunities have been found at Diebold University, a place where associates from all levels of Diebold's organization train to become more effective at what they do. Sassady also credits her immediate supervisor as a source of training and motivation.
"George Lambert, my supervisor, motivates me," she says. "He helps contribute to a work environment where everyone feels accepted."
