Tai Parker

Tai Parker
Programming and Technical Supervisor

Speaking with Tai Parker about working at Diebold is a lot like speaking to a fireman about working at a firehouse. He uses words like family and flexibility, and he easily explains how his job can affect or be affected by the person working next to him.

"Plus I put out my share of fires in my current position," Tai proclaims.

As a supervisor in Diebold's Event Monitoring Center, Tai is responsible for "all things technical" from alarm panel programming to computer equipment.

"I don't have to know how to do everything, but I need to have enough understanding to manage these systems," Tai explains.

Tai describes his environment at Diebold as "a tight knit familly" which has kept him at Diebold for nearly 9 years. He's began as an entry-level employee and has been promoted most recently to the position he aspired to when he started as a dispatcher working the overnight shift.

"I'm proof you can succeed at Diebold," Tai says proudly. "And you can still have a life outside of work."

Outside of work, Tai spends time with his family, including a 3-year-old grandaughter. He also has a variety of hobbies and is able to find time for them.

"Diebold offers the flexibility and fairness people hope for from a large organization. The company is willing to work with you from the start to establish and maintain a schedule that benefits you and the organization," says Tai, adding that he's always been able to schedule doctors appointments and time to see kids' recitals, making up time later without having to burn through vacation or sick days."

"If a friend asked me whether to apply at Diebold, I'd say 'definitely,' apply here."
